The Academic Conference at San Diego Comic-Con International

The Comics Arts Conference is an academic conference that meets every year at WonderCon Anaheim and the San Diego Comic-Con International. Our mission is to bring professionals and academics together with the public to discuss all aspects of the medium of sequential art.

The Comics Arts Conferences welcomes submissions focused on aspects of sequential art, graphic storytelling in the form of comic strips, comic books, and graphic novels. We regret we are unable to accept submissions concentrating primarily on other media or popular culture in general.
